The vintage Vuokko dress has a full frontal silver stud snap front closure, two huge patch pockets and one piece wide sleeves, meaning there are only 2 seams on the dress- up the sides and under the arms. Incredibly versatile, since it could be worn as a lightweight coat, a robe or a dress in several ways. It has a self belt.
Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko, and known for bold color and shape combinations, whimsical looks.
